Checks Vs Stripes

Hey everyone, how was your weekend? I had a pretty good one, headed up to Auckland for my end of year black tie work do/awards night. Was great to catch up with colleagues up there and have fun with colleagues from chch. Slept Saturday night as I was rather tired then caught up with some mates Sunday and headed over the road to a local bar to catch our mates who are in a band play and have a few quiets in the sun - it was such a nice day, I cannot wait for Summer!!
 
I got both these pieces recently, the crop top was only $10 & the skirt not much more so I couldn't resist! Then I thought, lets pair them together hehe. A fun patterned take on monochrome....although I had to add a touch of colour!

    oh my gosh, I think this is my favourite outfit of yours ever! the checks and stripes look amazing together and the red shoes are the perfect finishing touch x
