The Beginning

The beginning of what you may ask? Oh just an epic week that is all! I worked today (arrived at the wrong time but meh lol) then I have the rest of the week off, it will involve my first ever Cup Day tomorrow, getting my hair done, going out for dinner, shopping, catching up with mates, relaxing, drinking and a 21st with a mate I havent seen in 4 years! Bring it on!! Thank god its pay day Wednesday is all I have to say lol.

I wore this the other day when it was a bit warmer, Im very undecided about these wedges to keep or to sell - opinions?

Girls girls girls

The bf has gone off to Dunedin with some friends for the weekend so Im home by myself :( I thought it would be a good opportunity for a girls night! Friday a few of my workmates came over and we had some fish n chips and some drinks, I shopped up a storm yesterday - perfect sport to do while bf is away haha, then lastnight a few of my mates came over for drinks, nibbles and gossip :) I must admit I am feeling pretty lonely today.....I slept in till 12.15 and im watching Gossip Girl online lol lazy sunday much? I guess I could go visit people but I honestly cant be bothered.

I wore this a few weeks ago, exscuse the crap quality pics not sure what those dots are all about. It was kinda cold so I layers up, I like the shirt, gives the outfit something different and a bit of colour. I couldnt decide on what shoes went best though so I have pics of both - what shoes do you think go better?

I scored some great bargains shopping yesterday, Ive been after a black oversized T-shirt for aaaaaaaages and I finally found one yay! I also scored a nude/beige skirt for $20 and it was originally $80!! I know I have lost of lace but I coudnt resist a lace dress it was only $15!

Chopper - Harden the F*#k up New Zealand

Me and the boy went out for dinner to a nice Thai restauarant lastnight then headed to the Town Hall to watch Chopper live. Was so funny! Im not sure if everyone knows who he is but basically he was a aussie vigilante sort of dude - google Chopper Reid - this fella travels over the world performing comedy shows looking, acting and sounding like the original Chopper, think swearing, straight up honesty and a bit of violence thrown in. makes for some good laughs!!

Dirty Purple Work Shirt

Whats with the title you may be wondering? Im from Southland you see so I'm awesome and I roll my Rrrrrr's. Dirrrty Purrple Worrrk Shirrrrt is one of the sentances people ask me to say to hear my r rolling. After living here for nearly 6 years it does get a bit old though! I wore this to work the other week, this top is very comfy and nice and light for the upcoming summer!

I had a four way chat to my family on Skype today it was awesome. Mum and my Bro in Auckland and my Dad over in Hamburg, Germany. I was cooking tea while chatting hehe. Tomorrow me and the boy are heading out for dinner and then to Catch Chopper live at the Town Hall - I will fill you in on Thursday!

Maxi Styles

I was on the hunt for a plain black maxi dress for aaaaaaaages. I found one quite some time ago at Dress Smart but it was a bit too cold for it, I managed to crank it out the other week. Decided to go with a black and white theme, added my bow headband for some cutness factor hehe.

I cant wait to wear it over the warmer months. I so stoked today I totally forgot I only have to work Monday next week then I have the rest of the week off!! Its Cup Day next Tuesday (and cup week in Christchurch - think horse racing and dressing up) and I have never been so Im looking forward to dressing up and drinking wine in the sun (well hopefully!). Ive got dinner to go to Wednesday, hair getting done Thursday then my mate arrives from Australia on Friday whom I havent seen since our joint 21st - gonna be an epic week!

I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know it was Halloween but we dont really celebrate it in New Zealand, just another day for us lol. I hit a cat yesterday with my car which wasnt ideal :( Ive never hit anything with my car before and it freaked me out! The cat disappeared so Im hoping its ok......and my cars ok :P
