Punk Lace

Ahhh Monday how I hate you haha. I dragged my arse back to the gym this morning after a week or so off.....was interesting! I managed to get through, I do have some sore muscles now though! I should really step up my game with summer coming up.

This top/dress is super comfy and I love the zip detailing and the skull hehe kinda punk......so I thought I'd team it with some girly lace and finish it off with my lace up wedges :)

Im Home! But not for long....

Did you miss me? Ive been in Auckland for a week for work, free food yay!haha. We stayed at Sky City as usual as our work up there is right across the road. There was a bit if excitement on Thursday when a building had to be demolished across the road, they had the road blocked off all night bit of excitement for the tourists! It was funny because it was all over the news - one building gets bowled in Auckland and its on the news - what about the building getting bowled still in Christchurch every day after the Earthquake? Harden up Auckland! Anywho nothing much else happened while I was away it was all work and food really hehe. I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 with my mummy on Thursday then we had some dinner which was a lovely evening. Good to be back home in my own bed though. Alas only for 5 days though as I have to fly back up to Auckland on Thursday at some ungodly hour, work all day then work all day the Friday then its our work do at the fancy Hyatt regency Hotel which will be interesting!! Its that time of year where theres lots of parties and work do's, Ive pretty much got something on every weekend until Christmas now!

To my outfit, this was worn a few weeks ago, this skirt is quite girly for me but I like the cut and the roses.

Im off!

Just a quick note today as the taxi is on its way to pick me up and take me to the airport, Im on my way to Auckland for a week for work. Looking forward to a buffet dinner and desert tonight....flying? Not so much. Not sure If I'll have internet up there so you may not see me for a week - but I'll be back I promise!

The Sickness

After my first Cup Day on Tuesday Ive had a few days off work and what do ya know? Ive been sick. Cant catch a break! Ive just recently had a bad cold/flu and somehow Ive got Gastro or something....I wont go into detail but its been rather unpleasant! Im so gutted because the weather these last few days has been absolutely stunning and of course I havent been at work, awesome time off being wasted by being sick :( To top it off my friend is over from aussie that I havent seen for 4 years and her sis's 21st is tomorrow night......Im then flying to Auckland for a week for work - must get better!!! Im feeling a bit better today but not 100%.

Anywho onto my outfit Ive got a few outfit pics stacked up that I havent got around to posting so I will get rid of them first then try get up to date with my posting - although it might have to be when I get back from Auckland.

Cup Day 2010

As you know I went to my first Cup Day at Addington Raceway in Christchurch on Tuesday. It was definately an interesting day! I got (mostly) ready at home then went roudn to my mates about 9.30am or so and they were already drinking! Tell you what its weird drinking so early on a random Tuesday! We finished off getting ready, cooked a big BBQ breakfast and wandered across the road around 12.30. Was very convenient being across the road - no parking worries for us. I actually didnt take as many pictures as I would have liked, lets just say I was rather drunk and forgot about it haha.

As you can see it was a perfect day except it was a tad on the windy side - a few girls loosing hats and flashing lol, luckily my dress was tight so it didnt blow up, however it did ride up when I walked which was a bit annoying. I managed to smuggle in some wine but funnily enough had to tip my water bottle out which was full of.....water, very annoying. All in all though a good day, def better than being at work. I got home about 7.30 drunk as a skunk which im sure the bf found amusing hehe. Ive still got the rest of the week off but im a bit dissapointed as I was planning on getting a good nights sleep lastnight, getting up early and going to the gym......instead I spent my night barely sleeping in pain with a sore stomach :( Its still a bit sore but Im hoping it goes away as I have a hair appointment in a few hours!
