Retro with a Twist

Hello Lovelies, another weekend has whipped by! I accidentally went shopping on Saturday, but everything I got was on sale :P Saturday night I had some friends over for a wee get together to celebrate my upcoming birthday on Wednesday and Sunday was spent not doing anything overly strenuous haha. Even though its only Monday I'm looking forward to the weekend already as I have a three day weekend to look forward too whoo hoo!

 

I wore this outfit to a "retro" themed photoshoot I had recently (you can see pics here ) I thought the polka dot pencil skirt was kinda retro, added some studded booties and leather jacket to toughen the look up. These shots are after my shoot with my makeup and hair done :)

On a non fashion related note I took my beloved baby (my car :P) in for a re-tune today so excited to head to Hanmer on Saturday and give her a wee boost! Excite!

Patterns, Peplums & Leather

Hi Lovelies, TGIF! I am going to chill tonight before spending tomorrow running errands and getting sorted for my birthday do here. Looking forward to a fun night! I've got a wee night planned for my actual birthday too so should be a good week over the next week!

I picked this peplum top up recently on sale, I own quite a few sleeveless peplum tops but no longer sleeved so thought this would do the trick! Teamed it with my leather look panel pencil skirt, funky patterned tights and some warm booties - they have fur inside! (not real fur don't panic!). Some simple accessories finish off the look, what do you think?

Black & White

Hi Lovelies, yay the weekend is nearly upon us again! I am hosting some drinks at mine this weekend to celebrate my upcoming Birthday, looking forward to that!

You cant go wrong with a black and white outfit, especially in winter I think! I like to play around with textures though to keep it interesting, topped off with some Isabel Marant wedge sneakers and you have yourself a comfy yet chich winter outfit!

Camo & Leopard

Hi Lovelies, another rainy, cold miserable day here geez what a crappy start to winter haha. I ordered my first order on SheInside the other day, I hope everything fits etc, has anyone else purchased off there before? How did you find it?

I cant believe its June already, but that means its my birthday month yay! I am having a wee get together this Saturday to celebrate me being another year closer to 30 haha, might do something on my actual bday too :)

This outfit is from awhile ago obviously haha, subtle mixing of prints with the camo top and leopard heels. I wanted a red skirt and found this one for cheap on Boohoo, Im not completely sold on the way it sits though...

Kicking it Casual

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend, It is Queens Birthday weekend here in New Zealand so that means long weekend whoo hoo! Although it is back to work tomorrow.  I have got a bunch of things done this weekend that I've been meaning too, attended birthdays, caught up with family I haven't seen in ages, went to the movies - Fast and Furious 6 by the way, I enjoyed it! Whew!
