Hey Lovelies, hope you are all well! Sorry about the delay in posting....unfortunately our internet cap has been reached and we have no gone to dial up.....UGH. Its so slow and horrible and doesnt make for easy blogging :( Alas I think Ive managed to uoload some pictures....they seem to have come out in odd sizes though so bare with me. Will be back to regular speed on Wednesday thank god!

I couldnt resist wearing my red jersey again and since the weather is starting to warm up I teamed it with a sheer maxi skirt, I waltzed downstairs and the bf told me he could see straight through it so I had to go put some tights on underneath, cant go around flashing people!!

Hope you are all having a fab weekend! We watched the All Blacks beat Tonga lastnight in their first Rugby World Cup match and tonight my work is hosting a BBQ and drinks and watching the England vs Argentina game on a big TV yay! xxx

A Pop of Colour

Hi Lovelies! I am needing some help choosing a new camera so if you have any advice or tips etc check out my previous post and holla!

I wore this outfit to the bf's auntie's 50th recently, as you know i went a bit nuts with 3 new pairs of wedges and I really wanted to wear a pair. I decided on my bright coral pair teamed with basic black and a nuetral blazer.

Camera Help

Hi Lovelies, a technology post today, would love your thoughts and opinions! I am by no means a photographer but I do enjoy taking photos....I am a bit technologically retarded if you will and I want a camera that takes awesome pics without me having to do anything too hardout. I am wondering if I should take the jump from a point and shoot to an entry level DSLR....is it worth it? Or should I just get a better point and shoot - procs? cons? Hit me with your opinions! I'd also love to know what kind of cameras you guys use.

I do know that If I get a DSLR I want a canon - the two I'd probably choose from are below:

Canon 1100D

                                                                          Canon 1000D

Is there any other Canon entry level DSLR's you would recommend? Such a hard decision I need all the help I can get! Thanks lovelies xxx

A Day of Many

Hello my lovelies, another weekend nearly over :( I wore this out last weekend to some drinks at a mates place, I love this dress its such a gorgeous colour and super comfy. I've worn it before but this time slightly different and no tights! Cant wait to be able to wear no tights all the time. The first photo below came out with a random contrast compared to the rest of the pictures but I quite like it (except for the weird expression on my face)

As my title suggests today is a day of many things. Its Fathers Day here in NZ - Happy Fathers Day to my awesome Dad! Its also the bf's Dads birthday who unfortunately passed away about 8 years ago AND it is the 1 year anniversary of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck us at 4.35am September 4th last year.......I cant believe it has been a year - what a year! We have endured over 7000 aftershocks this last year since the 7.1 quake including the devastating aftershocks on February 22nd where nearly 200 people lost their lives.....I dont really know what to say, this year has been a challenge thats for sure but I still have a great job, a home and my family and friends are al ok so cant complain too much.

Hope all my NZ readers are enjoying a nice day with their Dad's, unfortunately mine lives in Auckland so I wont get to see him but I sent him a little something so he knows I am thinking about him - and a text of course. Hope you have all had a great weekend, I picked myself up a Cleo, Cosmo and Fashion Quarterly for $15 so thats the rest of my lazy Sunday afternoon sorted! xxx         



Spring

Hi Lovelies, can you believe today is the first day of  September? Crazy! That also means the first day of spring here in New Zealand....although you wouldnt think so going by the weather today - ick!

Anywho onto much more important things like my outfit, I wore this out for the boys birthday recently, Ive been waiting for a chance to wear it again!
