Hi Lovelies, Happy Good Friday! As you know we are currently in Auckland for a wee holiday with my parents who live here. Yesterday James and I hopped on a ferry and went over to Waiheke Island, about a 35 minute ferry ride away from Auckland. The island is actually quite large. When we got there we walked about 1km to Oneroa township and had a look around, we then caught a bus to Onetangi and visited the Saratoga Winery and Wild on Waiheke where we partook in Archery and Laser Clay bird shooting, along with wine tastings and a yummy lunch! After relaxing in the sun we caught a bus back to the ferry and back home. It was a nice way to spend a day for sure, would love to go back and explore more!
Check out some pictures from yesterdays adventures:
View of Auckland CBD from the Ferry
Looking at sea from Oneroa Village
Orewa Beach where Mum and Dad live
The view we had while sipping wine and alcoholic Ginger Beer at Saratoga Winery
We made a new friend meet "California"
Waiheke Museum, unfortunately it was closed
Archery! Check out that angry looking sky
James and his laser gun
Relaxing in the sun
Waiting for lunch
They had lots of other activities also like Patonk and....
All in all a lovely day. Today is Good Friday here in New Zealand and so far we are just chilling and enjoying the view from Mum and Dads, being a public holiday there isn't much open so its nice to just relax and not do a lot every now and again!
Happy Good Friday Lovelies!xxx
