Please Stop

Dear Mother Nature, please leave me and my friends and family alone we are pretty much sick of your shit!!

If you didnt know I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. We have been hit by two large earthquakes - one in September last year and one in February this year which unfortunately killed nearly 200 people. We have suffered from 1000's and 1000's of aftershocks for over a year and then yesterday we were once again struck by not one but two large earthquakes and more continuing aftershocks....it is simply devastating to happen at this time of year. The aftershocks were becoming small and few and far between just when we thought things were getting back to normal Mother Nature stepped in to squash that. We are all ok thankfully and so is our house. Luckily after February we left the eastern suburbs which have once again been hit hard and suffed bad liquifaction, rock falls and power cuts. I really feel for the families over there. Christmas is a time to celebrate and spend time with your family not shovel silt from your yard and house.

But ya know what? Not much we can do about it as we cant control it, just have to get on with life so I am looking forward to opening some presents tomorrow and having a yummy Christmas lunch with the bf's family. Check out Christmas corner below filled with presents yay! hehe
